I like all kinds of stuff. Follow along and check some of it out. You won't be disappointed.
Not that this book is any well kept secret but “The 4 hour Work Week” is blowing my mind and I have this feeling im in the minority. Why everyone hasnt read and at least attempted to apply some of this stuff to their lives is beyond me, but sure enough everyone who i talk to about it is completely confused and dumbfounded.
If you go through life thinking that there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done then you are in dire need of the advice offered in this breezy read.
Check the website for the preliminaries. http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/
“I saw her standing alone in the Ralph’s express checkout line carrying decidedly less than 15 items. On the belt she placed 1 liter of Absolute vodka, 1 gallon of Tropicana orange juice, and 2 packs of tropical fruit flavored chewing gum. She leaned her tall, slender frame toward the cashier and with a pointed whisper she requested a pack of Capri 120s. Had she been able to get them without a word I’m sure she would have preferred it.
As she strode away with her plastic bags wrapped tight around her hand and an almost fatal angsty glimmer in her eye, i thought, there goes my kind of girl about to have my kind of night, one that ends alone, drunk, and smelling of candy.”

Janis Martin is called the Female Elvis Presley (but just young, badass rockabilly Elvis, not fat, old, dead on a toilet Elvis)
A quote from P.G. Wodehouses 1936 novel “Laughing Gas.”
Cyril Davies was a pioneer of british blues in the late 50s and early 60s. I don’t normally get into blues but today I can’t get this song out of my head. This is a Leadbelly song but in this case I prefer a cover.
From “The Demolished Man” by Alfred Bester, a classic 50s sci-fi novel about a complete megalomaniacal corporate titan who happens to be a huge asshole. Also there are psychics. Set in the 24th century, it reads like a pulp noir with ray guns and interplanetary travel.
The short and long of it is that its rad and you should read it.
